Located at Lakshbar Bajaha, Pratapganj, Barabanki, our 300-bedded multi-speciality hospital is dedicated to providing accessible, affordable, and patient-centric healthcare to the community. Admission Terms & Conditions
Eligibility for B.Sc Nursing
- The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on 31st December of the year in which admission is sought. The maximum age limit shall be 35 years.
- Minimum educational qualification:
- Candidates with Science who passed the qualifying 12th Standard examination (10+2) and obtained a minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together and passed English individually.
- Candidates from State Open School recognized by the State Government and NIOS recognized by the Central Government with Science subjects and English are also eligible.
- English is compulsory in 10+2 for eligibility to B.Sc Nursing.
- Colour blind candidates are eligible provided they wear corrective contact lenses or spectacles.
- Candidate shall be medically fit.
- Married candidates are also eligible for admission.
Eligibility for GNM
- Minimum educational eligibility:
- 10+2 with English and a minimum of 40% marks in the qualifying examination and English individually from any recognized board.
- Candidates from State Open School recognized by the State Government and NIOS recognized by the Central Government are eligible; Science is preferable.
- 10+2 with English and 40% marks in Vocational ANM course from a school recognized by the Indian Nursing Council.
- 10+2 with English and 40% marks in the Vocational Stream-Health Care Science from a recognized CBSE/State/Centre board.
- Registered ANM with pass mark.
- For foreign nationals, entry qualification equivalency of 12th standard will be determined by the Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi. The institution and State Nursing Council shall ensure the qualification is equivalent to the prescribed requirements.
- Reservation:
- 3% disability reservation for locomotor disability of 40% to 50% of the lower extremity, subject to the same age and qualification norms.
- 5% relaxation in total marks for SC/ST candidates.
- Any other reservation as per State Government rules.
- Admission of students shall be once in a year.
- Students shall be medically fit.
- Minimum age for admission is 17 years as on 31st December of that year; the upper age limit is 35 years. For ANM/LHV there is no age bar.
- Male candidates can also apply for GNM, depending on institutional policy.
